PKRA France Day 2
April 12th, 2009
Riding in the 2009 PKRA World Tour started today with 37 men and 9 women braving the french conditions. After the qualifying rounds for the men, Tom Hebert and Alberto Rondina kicked off the main event with their explosive and stylish moves. The next heat saw an unfortunate accident involving frenchman Vincent Tiger, who had to be shipped off to hospital for stitches. A notably shaken rider’s field then braved the strong, gusty and cold conditions and put on an awesome show, and some of the most spectaclar wipeouts we’ve ever witnessed in kiting.
Stand outs from today were: Youri Zoon, Tom Hebert, Kevin Langeree and of course, 5-time World Champion, Aaron Hadlow.
We wrapped up today ready for the semi finals for both men and women and hope to have the single eliminations finished by tomorrow and start the second chance double ellimination ladder in the afternoon!
Stay tuned for tomorrows news, we hope to have the single elimination round finished.
